Our Christmas inspirations...
December means one thing (adopts Noddy Holder voice): "It's chriiiiiiistmas!". With our two festive candles Holiday Cheer and Snowed In on firm rotation around Lost in Scent HQ, we thought we'd share with you our mood board of inspirations for this year's scent story....
Christmas's from the 70s and 80s. Our own family festive from the era when tinsel and garishly glowing fairy lights adorned the tree, and the waft of sherry in the air might be the reason behind the mood of merriment!
Gingerbread Fresh from the Christmas market. Sugary, snappable ginger treats which fill the home with soft spices.
Doris Day Mood lifting, cheer bringing good old fashioned crooner kitsch on the radio.
Mulled wine The aroma of spiced wine in cut glass goblets, topped with dried orange slices and cinnamon.
Open fires Our Snowed In scent was particularly inspired by those roaring-fire, nothing to do but curl up with a book winter days.
